Just four days after a car crash accident comes news that the Oscar winning actor Morgan Freeman is engaged in a "divorce action" with his wife of 24 years, costume designer Myrna Colley-Lee, according to Freeman's business partner and attorney Bill Luckett.
"And for legal and practical purposes the pair have been separated since December 2007." he added.
The 71-year-old Dark Knight star is recovering in a Memphis hospital after a car crash on Sunday left him with a broken arm, broken elbow and shoulder damage.
