Paul Newman Dies

Paul Newman has died at the age of 83 after losing a long battle against cancer. He passed on last night at his farmhouse near Westport, Connecticut.


Paul was nominated for 10 Oscars, winning 1 trophy in 1987 for "The Color of Money." He also starred in one of my favorite films, "Butch Cassidy and The Sundance Kid".

We'll miss you Paul!

Palin email hacked

News broke and circulated widely on the internet that Sarah Palin's private Yahoo email account had been hacked and publicized some of its contents on the Wikileaks Web site by "Anonymous", who exposed the “Church” of Scientology’s dark side.

Palin has since deleted both accounts simultaneously,the previously accessible public profiles for gov.sarah@yahoo and the private e-mail address gov.palin@yahoo.

The offending posts, screenshots, unseen family photos, and emails have all been deleted from Imageshack and 4Chan, but gawker.com has some screenshots of the emails saved before the account were deleted, along with the contact list.


McCain-Palin 2008 Campaign Manager Rick Davis issued the following statement :

"This is a shocking invasion of the Governor's privacy and a violation of law. The matter has been turned over to the appropriate authorities and we hope that anyone in possession of these emails will destroy them. We will have no further comment."

Jennifer Hudson Engaged

Jennifer Hudson is now engaged to her boyfriend David Otunga, her boyfriend of about a year.

It was reported that David proposed to Academy Award winning actress Jennifer Hudson with a Neil Lane diamond ring on Friday night, on the day of Jeniffer's birthday.

David Otunga is best known for I Love New York, the VH1 reality show where he played Punk.

Chuck “The Iceman” Liddell in Philippines

Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) fighter and UFC former light heavyweight champion Chuck “The Iceman” Liddell will be visiting Manila Philippines to promote Mixed Martial Arts for the Filipinos on Sept. 21, 2008.


Result from his last fight:

Chuck Liddell lost his last fight against Rashad Evans on the main event of UFC 88 last sept 06, 2008. Evans took the win by knocking out The Iceman with a blasted right hand punched at 1:51 of the second round.

With the loss, the 38-year old Liddell falls to 21-6.

Manny Pacquiao Mega Fight US Promotional Tour

WBC lightweight champion Manny Pacquiao will be leaving on September 14 for the promotional tour of his December mega fight with Oscar dela Hoya in the United States.

The pound-for-pound King will be promoting the fight in New York City, San Antonio and Houston in Texas, San Francisco and Los Angeles in California, Las Vegas in Nevada and some other major city in the US that has not yet been name.

Bob Arum and people from Golden Boy Promotions, including Oscar dela Hoya himself, will also help promote the fight.

Many believed Manny could earn as much as $15 million, eventhough Pacquiao and his team are declining to give details on how much he would get in the dela Hoya fight.

All in the boxing press are saying that this fight will give Pacquiao the biggest purse of his boxing career and could surpass his combined profit in all his previous fights.

Pacquiao has been doing light training regimen while in General Santos, Philippines, and is expected to resume heavy training when he arrives in the US under coach Freddie Roach.

My First Review On Google Chrome

Google announced yesterday the lunching of their new browser called "Google Chrome" and the availabily for downloading the beta version is offered for Windows owners only, just yet.

This morning i thought of downloading it and check it out for myself, installing was quick and easy. It just take a seconds, Chrome will just asked to import the data from the browser you prefered to choose then your off.

The first thing I noticed in the homepage are the thumbnails of the most visited site. After doing little bit of surfing, it displays the web sites I visited, just click thumbnails or the link and you go straight to them. You can see all the pages you visited when you click the 'show full history' link just below the thumbnails.

The next thing I noticed that this new browser is super fast, it load pages very quickly and efficiently, well you just have to see it and judge for yourself.

Like Firefox, Chrome also offers tab browsing, it is place above address bar and it each tab have its own address bar. They say this is designed so that if a site crashes in one tab, it will not affect the whole browser.

Chrome also features an incognito mode, it means that if you view pages in that mode, it won't appear in your browser history.

This google Chrome impresses me, after just a little time using it. Many of its ideas are borrowed from other browsers, but it has real potential.

Google Chrome: Google Browser

Google Inc. is releasing its own Web browser "Google Chrome"and will be available for downloading tomorrow in more than 100 countries.

Google said on their official announcement that they are releasing this beta version for Windows and that they are still working on versions for Mac and Linux.

News of the new browser leaked yesterday after a comic book that is drawn by Scott McCloud, commissioned by Google, was uploaded on to the internet.
